Letter Of Proof Of Community Service

Welcome!

Note: if you prefer reading this in French just follow this link .
Hi dear readers !

It Took me some time (too much) to Come Up With An Idea to help my friend Nathalie who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer: sarcoma. I'm not a doctor, I'm just a normal woman who got speechless after learning Nathalie's disease, and who wants to help.
I invite all of you to:
- read her blog: beat sarcoma
- check the web page of the non-profit organization she created: BeatSarcoma.org
- and last but not least you can make a donation to the research team leaded by Amreen Husain
at Stanford.
To donate now click here.

So as I was saying I'm not a doctor, but I just want to help raising awareness about sarcoma. I'm a food lover and my idea is to spread the awareness through the web with a story-chain. This blog: help-beat-sarcoma-a-thon is YOUR blog, and I would like all of you the share your story about your favorite Sunday lunch. Do you like to go out for brunch, can you only have your Mum roast? You name it :-)

"We edit!" a private collection of individual books

What do you do when you want to publish, offer the other a story, pictures ...?
When we want to make objects that should be called books, they are composed of a cover and pages with things printed on it?
can decide to be editor of others and / or yourself ... The independent publishing Early publishing, graphics editing, self-production ... exist in a network to share a bit of salons and galleries, bookstores.
Yet it is a true expression field, strong, surprising, a creative art form of books, magazines ... These are works for small or very small print that we present here but there have a desire to be exhaustive.
This is a personal collection, beating heart, acquisitions and trade fairs according to which we are involved with the publishing of no importance, and in that we organize at Chaumont for 6 years during the festival International poster.
These books are evidence of resistance to the standardization of publishing, a breath of fresh air graphics.

Beyond KIOSK

organized under the cycle of exhibitions SPECIMEN

Curator: Christoph Keller
design: Gregory Romanet

Conference Christoph Keller
in the Auditorium of the College of Rochotte
Tuesday, September 30, 2008
from 14h to 16h

KIOSK , traveling archive designed by Christoph Keller [1] , German graphic artist and publisher, was exhibited in over 20 locations worldwide [2] before joining in the fall of 2008, the permanent collection of the Library Art (Art Library) Berlin. It includes much of what was produced in the field of independent publishing, more than 6500 publications. Christoph Keller designed January 2008 version of "compressed", entitled Beyond Kiosk , which has been carefully selected and required a large curatorial work. The exhibition is a rare opportunity to see some examples of the most significant, independent art publishing today, with a selection of over 600 pounds , magazines, fanzines, LPs, CDs and Videos.

This new form of exposure does finally the most significant projects in the field of independent publishing these ten years. It's a very conscious choice, based on criteria that connect the intellectual content and / or artistic editing and graphics transcripts. This new form of archive focuses on opportunities for publication and distribution of alternative and offers a reflection on the ideas , motivations and strategies that motivate the art projects developed in and beyond printed form.

At each exhibition, Beyond Kiosk comes in a new form. The archive will be available at the Silos in a specially designed and redesigned exclusively instead. These documents are open to consultation, making it a valuable resource for students, lecturers, artists and audiences in general.
